MetaFarmers is an agricultural robotics company founded by PhD and master’s graduates from the IDIM Lab (Innovative Design and Integrated Manufacturing Laboratory) at Seoul National University. Leveraging proprietary gripper technology and algorithms, the company is building a specialized dataset for agricultural tasks with the goal of developing robots capable of performing farm work at a human laborer’s level regardless of environment, crop type, or task. Labor shortages in agriculture are a growing challenge across developed countries, and MetaFarmers is well-positioned to capture significant market potential upon achieving its technical and business milestones.
