Omios Biologics Inc. is a San Francisco–based startup developing an oncolytic virus therapy platform, led by a founding team with prior experience selling a preclinical pipeline to J&J and supported by world-class experts including Professor Ian Mohr of NYU School of Medicine and a former Google X scientist. Unlike traditional attenuation approaches, the company has developed a targeted backbone design technology that exploits cancer-specific defects, enabling systemic administration and biomarker-driven personalized therapies. The platform is currently under co-development discussions with global pharmaceutical companies.
